Carson Michael Lund of Manti has been called to serve in the Florida, Fort Lauderdale Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He will speak in the Manti 6th Ward on Sunday, June 30, at noon at the Manti Stake Center, 555 E. Union. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on July 20, 2019.

Carson is the son of Larry and Pam Lund of Manti. He is the grandson of Karalyn and the late Redge Hermansen of Gunnson, and Dale and the late Janet Lund of Manti.

Dallin Merrill Cox, son of Roger and Erin Cox, has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Colombia Medellin Mission.

He will report to the Colombia Missionary Training Center on July 9.

Dallin will be speaking on Sunday, June 30 at 9 a.m. in the Manti Tabernacle.  Dallin is the grandson of Merrill and Doris Cox of Manti and the late Stephen and Virginia Brockbank of Lehi.

Megan Aagard, daughter of Scott and Gay Aagard, Fountain Green, recently returned home from serving in the Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Scott and Karen Mickelson of Manti have been called to serve as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They have been assigned to labor in the Peru Lima South Mission for 23 months.

The Mickelsons will be speaking in sacrament meeting on Sunday, Dec. 30 in the Manti 8th Ward, 295 S. Main at 9 a.m.

They will report to the Missionary Training Center on Dec. 31, 2018.

Brantly Green has been called to serve an LDS mission in the Brazil Salvador South Mission Portuguese-speaking. He is the son of Ted and Jodi Meacham of Lehi, and Daniel and Michelle Green of Fountain Green.

Medical Adviser missionaries

 

 

Robert D. and Beverly A. Armstrong have accepted a call to serve in Phnom Penh Cambodia as Mission Medical Adviser missionaries. This is a change from their initial call to Bangkok, Thailand.
They spoke Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. in the Manti 9th Ward, 295 South Main Street, Manti.  They entered the mission home on Aug. 27 and will leave the country on their new adventure the following week.

Stetson Craig Taylor, son of Craig and Tamera Taylor of Moroni, has been called to serve in the Knoxville, Tennessee Mission.

                He will speak in the Wales LDS church on Sunday, July 22 at 11 a.m.

                Grandparents are David and Janice Taylor, Fairview, DeVon and Dorothy Beck and Michael Christensen, Spring City, and Jon and Kathy White, Spanish Fork.

                Stetson will enter the Provo Missionary Training Center July 25, 2018.

Riley Allred, son of Rick and Jody Allred has been called to serve an LDS Mission in Pocatello, Idaho.

He will speak on Sunday, July 22 at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant 3rd Ward.

He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on July 25. Riley is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Institute.

Grandparents are the late Lynn and Lenor Simons of Mt. Pleasant and Dick and (late) Dianne Allred of Spring City.

          Shayla Greene returned home on July 10 after faithfully serving in the California Anaheim Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

          She will be speaking in the Manti 10th Ward on Sunday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at the Tabernacle.

          Shayla is the daughter of Jared and Tevera Greene of Manti, and the granddaughter of Lloyd and Susan Lyons of Manti; Karen Hawk of Manti; and Ron Greene of Superior, Montana.
