Dave and Marion Lemon of Westville, Oklahoma are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Kylee to Landon Ross Carter, son of Jonnie and Rebecca Carter of Manti.  Landon and Kylee will be married on Aug. 24, 2019 in the Officers Club at Camp Williams.

Kylee is employed by Central Valley Medical Center in Nephi and is currently pursuing her degree in nursing.  Landon recently graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in conservation restoration ecology and received his commissioning in the Utah Army National Guard as a Military Intelligence officer.

Kylee is the granddaughter of Bill and Mildred Lemon of Missouri and the late Marvin and Stella Williams of Ephraim.  Landon is the grandson of Jonnie and Yvonne Carter of Mayfield, Terry Lee and Yvonne Larsen of Sterling, the great-grandson of Vivian and the late Don Larsen of Sterling and the late Stan and Margaret Voorhees of Manti.

They will be married in the Manti Temple on Saturday, Aug. 3.  A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Bown residence, 50 N. 330 East in Gunnison.

Brinley is a 2018 Gunnison High School graduate and will continue her education at Snow College.  Weston is a 2016 Manti High School graduate and served in the Arizona Tempe Mission (Spanish speaking) from 2016 to 2018.  Weston will continue his education at Snow College.

The happy couple will make their first home in Ephraim.

Paul and Karen Dupaix of Lehi, are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter Lisette to Seth Swapp, son of Jon and Anne Swapp of Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 in Lehi. A reception will be held in their honor at 2419 North 910 West, Lehi from 1-3 p.m. that afternoon.

Lisette graduated from Skyridge High School in 2017. Lisette is a very talented and passionate musician. She plays the clarinet, she is learning the piano, and she has a beautiful singing voice. She is currently attending Snow College where she is majoring in music, with the goal of becoming a band director.

Seth graduated from North Sanpete High School in 2017. He graduated magna cum laude from Snow College in 2019. He will be attending Utah State University in the fall, where he has been accepted into the Huntsman School of Business. Seth is currently employed at Eureka Roofing in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Lisette is the granddaughter of Dale and Barbara Stoddard of Lehi, Utah and the late Francis and Maurine Dupaix of Layton, Utah.

Seth is the grandson of Ramon and Harriett Swapp of Fairview, Utah and the late Joseph and Andrea Eaton of Salem, Utah.

Rodney and Janis Brinkerhoff of Fairview, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Haley to Dakota Dale Houghton, son of Dale and SherRon Houghton of Heber City on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Spring City. Haley graduated from North Sanpete High School in 2012, Snow College, 2017 and Utah State University, 2018 with a degree in Recreation Resource. She is currently working as a framer for John Brinkerhoff Construction.

Dakota graduated from Wasatch High School in 2012. He is a crew foreman for Westland Construction.

Haley is the granddaughter of Dan and Ruth Brinkerhoff, Fairview and the late Allan and Luana Green of Ephraim.

Dakota is the grandson of the late Stanley and Emma Houghton of Orem and Paul and Sybil Haderlie of Orem.

She was active in drill team and played saxophone in band. She graduated from Snow College with her associate of science degree. She also graduated from Snow College-Richfield with a cosmetology/barbering license,
and is currently employed in a salon in Utah County. Tanner is a 2012 graduate of Orem High School and Seminary. He was active in football and was a theater tech. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Monterey, Mexico Mission. He is employed in a plumbing apprenticeship program at MATC. McKell Amanda Salmon and Lowry Clinton Walker Akers are pleased to announce their marriage on Oct. 10, 2018 in Provo.

McKell is the daughter of Steve and Stephanie Salmon of Orem. She has two older brothers and an older sister. She was born and raised in Orem. Lowry Akers is the son of Bill and Linda Akers of Sterling.

Lowry and McKell met through a mutual friend (whom they are still close friends with) in 2012, Lowry had just finished playing football at Snow College and McKell was playing soccer at Utah Valley University. They developed a close friendship that has transformed into the love they share today.

Lowry and McKell began dating in April after a vacation to Hawaii with several friends. What finally sealed the deal for Lowry was meeting McKell’s sweet daughter, Nora. They love playing sports together, playing at the park, and spending time together as a family.

They couple plans to go to Vancouver, British Columbia for their honeymoon.

The bride is a graduate of Davis High School.  She is studying graphic design and will graduate from Utah Valley University in December.  She is employed at IdealFit in Lindon.  Her grandparents are Kenneth and Colleen Clifford, Salt Lake City, and Delia Perez, El Salvador.

The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School.  He received his associate degree from Southern Utah University and will continue his education at the University of Utah where he is studying engineering.  He is employed at Orbcomm in Salt Lake City.  His grandparents are Thomas and Dora Allred, Spring City.

The couple will make their home in South Jordan while they are attending school.

An open house will be held in their honor Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at the Spring City Community Center, where they would love to celebrate with their family and friends.
