South Sanpete School District

The school district has made a change in the requirements for Driver’s Ed. In order to complete the course, a student must attend a Zero Fatalities Parent/Teen Night with a parent or guardian.

The first Zero Fatalities presentation was on Jan. 11 at Manti High. Here are the remaining presentations:

Wednesday, Jan. 24    Gunnison High School            6 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 13         Manti High School                  6 p.m.

Tuesday, March 6       Manti High School                  6 p.m.

Wednesday, April 18  N. Sevier High School            6 p.m.

Tuesday, May 1          Manti High School                  6 p.m.

Wednesday, May 9     Gunnison High School            5:30 p.m.

 

 

Ephraim Elementary

Last Friday the fifth grade held its DARE graduation.

Friday, Jan. 25, is PTA Story Night at 6:30 p.m.

 

 

Fairview Elementary

The school’s latest Principal 200 Club winners got to eat fudge popsicles and hang out in the gym on Jan. 8.

 

 

Gunnison Valley Middle School

This week is Spirit Week at the school.

 

 

Gunnison Valley Elementary

Tonight, the school will hold its Family Literacy Night at 6 p.m. with special presentation by children’s book author, Gary Hogg.

 

 

Manti Elementary

Next week is Family Week at the school. As part of Family Week, the Winter Showcase Talent Show will be held at the school on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m.

 

 

Manti High School

Last Thursday, Driver’s Ed. students participated in a Dr. Ed Zero Fatalities Class.

Coming up on Saturday is the Senior Ball.

Friday, Jan. 25, will be the Lip Sync Assembly.

 

 

North Sanpete Middle

Last Thursday, students got to see a preview of the North Sanpete High School’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors.”

 

 

North Sanpete High School

The school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter took second place out of 20 chapters in regional competitions at Snow College on Jan. 8. Twenty-six students each competed in two to three events.

 

 

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week.
