ONTARIO, Ore.—The Snow College men’s basketball team continued their winning ways by sweeping their opponents in the Treasure Valley Holiday Invitational over the weekend, and improving to a Region 18 best 11-0.

On Thursday, the Badgers defeated host Treasure Valley 90-73; on Friday the Badgers beat Everett 102-91; and on Saturday the Badgers prevailed over Green River 78-68. In each game, there was a different Badger as the leading scorer, but multiple players scored in double figures in each game.

“They are unselfish and willing to get the ball to whoever is hot that game,” said Head Coach Robert Nielson, describing how Snow is playing unselfish team basketball. “They work hard on the defensive end, play good team basketball and have a high basketball IQ. They are happy for the success of others.”

Darrian Nebeker led the Badgers past Treasure Valley with 20 points on 7 of 8 shooting, including 4 of 4 from three-point range, while three other Badgers also had double figures.

Against Everett, Jake Walker scored 16 points, as did Brayden Johnson and Logan Hokanson. Truman Moore had 14 points.

And against Green River on Saturday, Nick Huston led the Badgers with17 points, while Stockton Shorts had 16.

This week, the Badgers are off, and they will take to the hardwood again on Dec. 14 and 15 in Twin Falls, Id., to take on Central Wyoming and Impact Academy.
