Robert Pehrson Sevy

Robert Pehrson Sevy, 84 of Ephraim, Utah, passed away Jan. 25, 2026 in Ephraim, Utah surrounded by his loving family. Born Jan. 23, 1942 to Franklin Hespert and Sarah Rozella Pehrson Sevy in Ephraim, Utah. Bob married his sweetheart Bonnie Kay Thomson Oct. 12, 1962 in the Manti Temple.

Dad graduated from Manti High School in 1960, after graduation he worked for Purity Biscuits in Salt Lake, he then took a job with Caribou Oil, where his love for trucking began. He drove for various companies including Associates Foods, hauling coal for Cox’s, WalMart and buying trucks and driving for himself. He also had a successful Cotton Candy business making and delivering cotton candy all over Utah, he had the whole family making cotton candy, even the grandkids. We probably made a million bags of cotton candy!

Dad and mom loved spending winters in Yuma and summers on the mountains camping and fishing with family and friends. Spending several years as camp hosts in Scofield. He enjoyed spending time with his family and always up for an adventure.

Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie, children, Wendy (Jerald) Schade; Elmo, Utah; Jeanette Sevy, Ephraim; Robert F. Sevy, Ephraim; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Vicki) Thomson, Ephraim; sister-in-law, Patsy (Bruce) Pace, Ephraim; sister-in-law, Myrna Thompson, Nephi; sister-in-law, Vickey Sevy, Manti.

Also survived by 29 grandchildren, Travis (Liz) Jackman, Fairview; Joshua (Kari) Jackman, Moroni; Jason (Cassie) Jackman, Santaquin; Casey (Crystal) Jackman, Gunnison; Tyler (Charity) Jackman, Ephraim; Kayley (Tyrell) Memmott, West Jordan; Lorraine Jackman, Bremerton, Washington; Ashley Schade, Huntington; Robert Schade, Elmo, Utah; Kyle Schade, Elmo, Utah; Robert J. Sevy; Mt. Pleasant; Samuel (Percinda), Spring City; Kira (Teagen) Peterson, Ephraim; Mailey (Connor) Ottley, Orem; Perrin (Maeva) Bolger, Heber; Haley (Drake) Sevy, Mt. Pleasant; Destiney Sevy, TyLynne Sevy Ephraim; 29 great-grandkids plus three more on the way; and one great-great-grandbaby;

Preceded in death by his parents Hespert and Rosella Sevy;  siblings; Frances (Wallace) Ruesch; Kenneth (Sylvia) Sevy; Nellie Sevy; Milton Sevy; Alfred Sevy; Neldon (Diane) Sevy; Wayne Sevy; brother-in-law, Everitt (Corky) Thomson; sister-in-law, Sandra Thomson; daughter-in-law, Emily Sevy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Ephraim Stake Center (400 East Center) with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
