Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24
Fairview City’s Pioneer Days Rodeo—The event will be held at Keller Arena, with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night. The rodeo, sanctioned by the RMPRA and featuring stock provided by Circle J Stock, includes Hyde races and ranch bronc events both nights, followed by a dirt dance after Friday’s performance. General admission is $10, with children ages 2 and younger admitted free. Tickets will be available at the gate.

Thursday, July 23 – Saturday, July 25
The Spirit of Freedom Pageant—The inaugural Spirit of Freedom Pageant will be presented through July 25. The outdoor production combines music, storytelling and history to tell the story of Rev. John Lothropp in 17th-century England. Tickets are $15 each or $45 for a family pass for four people. Children 11 and younger are admitted free. Friday, July 24
Pioneer Day—Pioneer Day celebrations will be held throughout Sanpete County. Participating communities include Fairview, Spring City, Mayfield and Sterling. Kermit’s Salute to Veterans Car Show— The Mayfield Lions Club will host the event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mayfield Lions Park East, 200 North. The free event is limited to 30 vehicles and includes participation in the Mayfield July 24 parade, which begins at 10 a.m. A quilt raffle and other July 24 activities will also be held. Saturday, July 25
Summer Thunder Taiko—Summer Thunder will feature Japanese taiko drumming during two free community events. Manti High School will host mental health and wellness resources, community vendors, food and activities beginning at 5 p.m. Donations will support Manti High School’s music and choir programs. Books and Bites Book Club—Copies of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, the August selection for Fairview City’s Books and Bites Book Club, will be available for checkout beginning Saturday, July 25, at the Fairview City Library. Ephraim 250th Celebration Summer Market—The 250th Celebration Summer Market will be held at Canyon View Park, 150 E. 400 South, Ephraim. Activities include local vendors, food, live music by The Phat Old Professors, free laser tag, pickleball and cornhole tournaments (registration required), a Salute to the Armed Forces and a patriotic dress contest. Spring City’s Bluegrass and Folk Music Festival—This bluegrass festival is set for July 31-Aug. 1 at Spring City Square, 50 S. 100 East. The free festival features live performances by regional bluegrass and folk musicians, including Lindsey and the Wulf, Craig and Tamilisa Miner, Last Wild Buffalo, Moonshine Prophets, Randall and the Petes, Jordan Mathew Young Duo, Molly in the Mineshaft and Paige and the Overtones. Saturday, August 1
Community Baseball Game between Mayfield and Ferron—The annual event is set for Aug. 1 at Twelve Mile Flat. The longtime tradition brings the neighboring communities together for a friendly baseball game and potluck. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share and enjoy a day of food, friendship and community. Organizers invite residents and visitors alike to help keep the tradition alive by filling the field and cheering on both teams.
