MANTI—The Student Body Officers of Manti High School for the 2022-23 school year were elected on March 11. They include Madison Worthington, president; Isaac Smith, vice president; Tate Wayman, secretary; Joslynn Gordon, activities; Kayson Douglas, publicity manager; and Leah Arnoldsen, historian.

These are the new student leaders that will represent the Templars.

Worthington said that she is excited to work with her fellow officers. “They are all so amazing and it’s going to be so fun to able to be work with them.”

Focus of the student body officers will be to serve the community during the next school year, Worthington said. She wants to do more service projects to help the community and her school.

Worthington is also very excited to be representing her school. She wasn’t picked to be in student government in her middle school years and it took her years to be elected. She is amazed that she has gotten to this point. The student body president plans on attending Snow College after her senior year.
