Son, grandson of Spring City residents receives Emmy

      SCOTTSDALE, Arizona—Lionel Tyler Weeks, son of Sue Jensen Weeks and the grandson of the late Neldon and Kathleen Jensen, all of Spring City, has won a 2020-21 regional Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

                Tyler is a news director at KSL-TV. He and the team he directed received the award in the Rocky Mountain division for multiple news reports under the title “Battleground Salt Lake.” The reports were about Black Lives Matter protests turning violent in 2020.
