Roberta Olson Sorensen

             Roberta Olson Sorensen passed away July 25, 2026, near her daughter at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, at the age of 97.  
                Roberta was born April 3,1929, at Payson, Utah, the daughter of Nephi Marx Olson and Mary (Mae) Matilda Davis. She married Keith H. Sorensen on the Aug. 26,1947, in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of two daughters, Kathryn Sorensen (deceased) and Carolyn Sorensen, grandparents of Zach Durrant.
                Roberta worked for LeVoy’s Company for many years.
                She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities such as Ward and Stake Relief Society President. She was also a temple worker at Manti and Jorden River Temples. She participated in the school lunch program at Cottonwood Heights Elementary. Roberta was a member of the Spring City Canal Creek Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
                She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith, daughter Kathern Sorensen, brothers Ferrin Davis Olson and Marvin “K” Olson.
                She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Sorensen; sisters Yvonne (Doyce Shepherd deceased), (Vern) Childs, René (Kenneth deceased) Simons; brothers Robert Lynn (Pat) Olson and Darrel Marx (Joan) Olson.
                Graveside services will be held Aug. 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with family and friends gathering from 10-10:30 a.m. in the  Moroni Utah City Cemetery. Dedication of the grave by Darrel M. Olson, brother. Online condolences and live streaming of the services at rasmussenmortuary.com.
