Believes Evan McMullin is conservative and qualified
I love living in a conservative state where the majority of citizens seem to fit the dictionary definition of the word conservative: “Believing in the value of established and traditional practices in politics and society.”
Of course, we do allow for proper adjustments that still further those goals, but at the heart is the proper value of established and traditional practices in society and politics.
Careful study of the presidential candidates’ lives and positions on the issues shows that Utah native Evan McMullin is the most qualified conservative candidate by far.
The least conservative of all the candidates, both behaviorally and politically (based on the above definition and also based on Utah voting pattern for decades) is clearly Donald Trump. American values in all three branches of government—and yes, especially on the Supreme Court—would be most in danger, even grave danger, with the election of Donald Trump.
Please vote for Evan McMullin or sort through the other candidates, but I beg you to research and realize what Trump has already done to established values and what he would do with infinitely greater power to destroy the established values of our society and our republic.
Abraham Lincoln famously said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedom, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
Past generations defeated their Benedict Arnold’s and Jefferson Davis’s. Will we?
