‘BIG DADDY’ ED ROTH 20TH ANNUAL RAT FINK REUNION

JUNE 2-4 IN MANTI, UTAH

Roger Nitti from Las Vegas (see photo above), commissioned Andy Kawahara of American Fork to create this Rat Fink combo gas pump and car. Matt Wood from West Valley City did the lettering.
Artist Thomas Estrada from Holladay (left), grew up in California, and now loves doing Rat Fink art. Enjoying his wares are Ken Morgan (far right), and his son, Kole, from Orem
Ilene Roth (left) was honored by the Surfaris Band at the Rat Fink Reunion. With Ilene on stage are band members Devan and Bob Beryhill. At age 16 in 1962, Bob was part of the original Surfaris Band that wrote “Wipeout,” “Surfer Joe” and many other songs. The family band still tours the world.
Valerie Brotherson of Mesa, Arizona, serves breakfast at the Rat Fink Reunion on Friday to Roger Nitti and Greg Britton, both from Las Vegas.
