Bob Olsen of Spring City

Their sweet mother was an absolute angel having to chase these rambunctious boys around while they were growing up in Spring City. Bob married his sweetheart, Margaret on May 2, 1951 in Nephi. They lived in Nephi and were blessed with seven children. Bob worked at the Rubber Plant for 26 years.

They moved to Spring City in 1974. Shortly after moving, Bob went to work at Deer Creek Coal Mine, where he worked for 20 years before retiring. He then went to work for the Moroni Turkey Processing Plant as a truck driver for 11 years before retiring once again.

Bob has always enjoyed hunting and playing horseshoes. Anyone who knows Bob, knows what an awesome singer and guitar player he is. He enjoys entertaining people with his talent and will do it every chance he gets. Bob and Margaret celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last year.

They have been blessed with their seven children, 27 grand- children, 60 great- grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and many bonus grandchildren. Bob and Bill were recently interviewed by KSL for being the oldest living male twins in Utah. A family party will be held to celebrate the amazing occasion.
