
Carole Davis Tervort
Carole Davis Tervort, 76, of Ephraim, passed away Dec. 16, 2018 in Provo, Utah after a long battle with heart disease.
She was born to Benjamin Elmo and Evelyn Bradshaw Davis, March 16, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Carole graduated from North Sanpete High School and received an Associate’s of Science from Snow College.
On Dec. 22, 1962 she married the love of her life, Louis G. Tervort, in the Manti Temple. Carole and Louis served an 18 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Laie, Hawaii. After their mission they worked as ordinance workers in the Manti Temple. They would have been married for 56 years this Saturday.
She reached out with great compassion and a tender heart full of love for her family, friends, neighbors and those unknown. She was a true friend to all her knew her. Music, reading and gardening were her passions. Carole’s life is a testament to the virtues of faith, kindness and charity.
Carole is a beloved mother. She is survived by her husband Louis and children: Lisa (Brian) Murray, Roger (Christa) Tervort, Rachelle (Brett) Stubbs, and Megan (Casey) Jewkes; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Larry) Burningham. Carole was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Tyler Tervort; and brother, Glenn Davis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Ephraim 2nd Ward Chapel, 450 North 200 West. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Ephraim Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Wales Cemetery.
