Chris Johnsen Gardner

Chris Johnsen Gardner, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, Utah, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. He was born Sept. 10, 1955, in Ogden, Utah, to Coy and Yvonne Gardner.

Chris was a skilled maintenance worker, electrician, and builder who spent his life working hard and helping others. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Diane Gardner; son Michael Gardner and wife Rebecca; daughter Jennifer Jones and husband Dan; son Anthony Gardner and wife Meredith; daughter Kim Martin; and daughter Denise Huff. He is also survived by his siblings, Pam (Hal), Don, Kathryn (Randy), David (Dixie), Mary Beth (Ben), Ruth (Jody), extended family, and many friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and willingness to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law Kathy Gardner.
