Danielle Joy Miner, 20, of Fairview, passed away Nov. 14, 2021 in Salt Lake City at the Huntsman Cancer Institute after a long struggle with granulomatosis with polyangiitis that attacked her lungs, sinus and ears.
Dani was born on July 18, 2001 in Nephi, UT, to Nathan Jared and Alana Joy Dotson Miner. She was raised in Fairview and attended Fairview Elementary School, North Sanpete Middle School and North Sanpete High School until her health challenges became too great.
She learned how to hand quilt and made baby quilts for her siblings. Dani loved her animals and fostered cats for the Celestial Zoo Pet Rescue. Her greatest love though was her service dog, Lady Bug. Dani was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was proud she could earn her Young Woman medallion. She loved her family greatly.
Dani is survived by her parents; grandparents Kent and Nancy Miner of Fairview, and Larry Dotson (Lois) of St George; siblings Elizabeth (Nathanael) Opoulos of Ogden, Sara Miner of Ogden, and Jared Miner of Fairview; and nine aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joyce Dotson.
It is suggested that donations be made in Dani’s name to the Celestial Zoo Pet Rescue or Primary Children’s Medical Center School Zone.
