Della A. Bunnell
Della A. Bunnell was born in Centerfield on March 10, 1934, to Frank and Myrtle Allred, she spent her childhood on Kid Alley as the ninth of 10 children.

Throughout her life, family remained her heart's greatest treasure. A devoted mother to four, Della was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, taking immense pride in watching every generation thrive.
Della’s life was enriched by the love she shared with her husbands. She married Morris Sorensen on May 17, 1952, and together they had two sons, Scott and Blake. After Morris passed away on March 28, 1959, she married Richard John L. James on Dec. 21, 1961, welcoming their daughter, Lynette, and son, Keith. Following Richard’s passing on June 12, 1975, she married Lloyd Bunnell on June 4, 1980; he passed away on Dec. 2, 2012.
Her faith was the anchor of her life. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Della served selflessly in many callings within the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society. She offered everyone she met a true pattern of Christlike love, leaving each person with the unmistakable feeling that they were her favorite. Her many stalwart friendships were among her greatest treasures.
Della was also a hard worker who contributed to local businesses throughout the valley, including Valley Builders and South Sanpete Pack. She especially cherished her time at ACT working alongside Roland and Julia Christensen, where her claim to fame was wrapping the very first Christensen Arms rifle barrel.
Della lived life wholeheartedly. Whether caring for her home and family, hunting, fishing, gardening, cheering for the GV Bulldogs, or serving others, she imparted countless life lessons along the way. Della is a beautiful person inside and out. We are all deeply blessed to have had her in our lives.
