Denise Lyle Dean Brown Bell

Denise Lyle Dean Brown Bell, 84, of Manti, Utah, passed away April 9, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, Utah.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1937 in Murray, Utah to Beryl Gouy and Lyle Eva Walker Dean.

Denise married William Claude Brown on Nov. 2, 1955 in Elko, Nevada.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1978.  Years later on April 20, 2018, she was sealed to her sweetheart in the Manti Temple.  She later married David Bell in Elko, Nevada, and he also preceded her in death in 1994.

Our beloved mother was the kindest, most caring, loving, sweetest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend we could ask for.  Her greatest accomplishment in life is her entire family.  She truly loved them with all her heart.

It wasn’t until later in life she found her career as a CNA, which she was passionate about.  She truly loved and cared for and showed true kindness to all the people she took care of. She would go out of her way, even on her own time, to help anyone who needed it.

The last few months and weeks of her life, the tables were turned.  She needed the CNAs, physical therapy, rehab and hospice.  The kindness, love and caring were returned.

We as a family want to express our appreciation to all those who took care of her in her time of need.

She is survived by her children: Dennis (Lorie) Brown, Delta; Tamara (Alan) Nielsen, Manti; Leisa (Scott) Vaillette, Red Bluff, Calif.; LauraLee (Mike) Green, Fountain Green; Shelly (David) Woolsey, Manti; and Steven (Sandra) Brown, LaVerkin; 29 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

Her siblings consist of: Clive (Wanda) Ahlstrom, both deceased; Clair (Beth) Ahlstrom, Sandy; Sharon (Larry) Slaght, both deceased; Kaye, deceased, (Van) Gerszewski, Calif.; Fenton, deceased, (Gerry) Dean, Salt Lake City; Bill (Larue) Dean, Salt Lake City.  Also preceded in death by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at noon in the Manti City Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Magleby Mortuary, Manti.

Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
