In 1970 she moved with her family to Fountain Green, Utah, where she started out as a clerk but ultimately became the Postmaster of the Fountain Green Post Office. She retired from the Post Office in 1994.

June became known as “Grandma June,” and people came from all over Utah for her Halloween donut holes.

Surviving her are her children, John A. (Lori) Truitt; C. Ray (Allene) Truitt; Sheree L. (Arthur) Ontto; Julie G. (Paul) Robbins; Michelle D. Dye. Preceding her in death was one son, Henry J. White, this year on June 26th (interred July 29th).
