Evan Ulisses Pantoja

      Evan Ulisses Pantoja was born Aug. 23, 2003 in Mt. Pleasant to Juan Ramon Pantoja and Alma Delia Jimenez Castillo.

Evan Ulisses Pantoja

      Evan was preparing to join the military after he graduated from Gunnison Valley High School and was so excited to protect this country. He was very patriotic and was a loyal son and friend who excelled in sports, theater and music. He loved motivational speaking and was an excellent artist and gardener.

      Evan was a student at Gunnison Valley High School. He was employed at Christensen Arms and was fascinated by the construction of firearms.  He hoped to study business and music and wanted to be an influencer and motivational speaker in the future. He was a friend to all and was loved by so many in the Gunnison and Manti Valleys.

      He is survived by his parents, Alma Delia Jimenez Castillo (Mauricio) Vazquez and Juan Ramon Pantoja; his brothers and sisters: Alma Jeanette (Jenny) Pantoja; Jeovanni Pantoja, Marilyn Campos Pantoja, Noel Pantoja, Rose Pantoja, Tania Vazquez and Karolyn Vazquez; his niece and nephews: Alexander Mora Pantoja, Juan Antonio Mora Pantoja and Elizabeth Flora Campos; and many wonderful aunts and uncles.

      He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jose Pantoja and Victor Jimenez. His grandmothers are Maria Elena Pantoja Ramos and Margarita Jimenez Castillo.

      Funeral services were held April 30, 2022 at noon in the Centerfield Ward Chapel.  Interment will be in the Centerfield Cemetery.
