Tiffany Tidlund and her first-grade class at Manti Elementary stop in at the Sanpete Messenger during visits to businesses up and down Main Street.
The idea was to thank the businesses for supporting the school.
“It was an extremely kind and thoughtful gesture, especially now, when so many businesses are struggling through COVID,” said Linda Nielsen, owner of Manti Mercantile.
The kids left signs saying, “We sure love our Manti community! Thank you for supporting Manti Elementary!”
