The volunteers started at 9 a.m. in the morning and some stayed all day, said spokesperson Corrine Olsen. The workers prepared the garden, installed chain link fencing, installed new flooring, put up new siding and winterized the buildings.
Volunteers will continue to work on the project for the next couple of weeks, Olsen said. Cash donations are still needed and they can be sent to Stacey Carlisle, 640 E. 70 South, Manti, Utah, 84642.
Olsen said, “Thanks for supporting us all these years. We love to see people visit the exhibit every year!”

Then they can trade in their baskets for a special treat at the end of day.
In this photo, patrons pedaled their tricycles filled with hay over to the horse barn to feed the horses, Olsen said. Most of the activities do not involve interactions with real farm animals and farm products, but replicas, Olsen said.
Fun on the Farm is held at fair time only; and it is operated with grants, donations and volunteer labor.
