North Sanpete and Gunnison High Schools will be filled with beautiful dresses and tuxedos this coming weekend at each school’s individual junior proms.

GUNNISON

The Gunnison Valley High School junior class will present “Hollywood, dress up to get down,” on Saturday, March 5.

There will be two sessions available for spectators to come and enjoy the promenade. Session One will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Session Two will be from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Seating for the event will begin 15 minutes prior to starting time.

Tickets must be purchased in advance from the GVHS front office.

NORTH SANPETE

The North Sanpete High School class of 2023 will present “Midnight Garden” for the junior prom on March 4 and 5.

It has been a long tradition to have two nights of prom. Friday night is traditionally boys’ choice; with girls’ choice taking place on Saturday. The Promenade will begin both nights promptly at 8 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.

The public is invited to attend this long-lived tradition.
