Ephraim Elementary School

      Ephraim Elementary School will be celebrating Readasaurus’ Birthday with a circus-themed party on Friday, Jan. 28. Students may wear pajamas or dress in circus costumes for a fun day of reading.

      Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 4. All appointments will be scheduled online by the parents. Please log in to the booking site to make an appointment at https://www.schoolbookings.net and use the booking code hufn3.

      Bookings for appointments opened on Jan. 18 and will close on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 8 a.m.

      Students will be excused Thursday, Feb. 3 at noon and there will be no school on Friday, Feb. 4.

Manti Elementary School

      Manti Elementary School will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 3-5 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 3, from 1-7 p.m. On Friday, Feb. 4 there are no conferences and no school.

      Preschool will not have school on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Mrs. Meacham’s kindergarten afternoon class is canceled on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

Gunnison Valley Elementary School

      Gunnison Valley Elementary School is holding the Brilliant Bulldog Art Contest, where prizes are awarded. Entries are due this Friday, Jan. 28. Entry forms are available in the school office. The theme for the 2022 art contest is “My Vision of the Future.” Students can submit entries in the following categories: dance, music, photography, literature and visual arts.

Spring City Elementary School

      Spring City Elementary School will start holding Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 2:45-7 p.m. All meetings held this day will be scheduled. Teachers will contact parents who they wish to see at the conference on this day.

      They will also be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 2:45-7 p.m. for any other parents who would like to participate.

      There will be no school on the following Friday, Feb. 18. Any questions regarding the conference can be directed to the school at  462-2169.

Moroni Elementary School

      Moroni Elementary School will be holding a Parent-Teacher Association meeting on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 2:35-3:35 p.m. The meeting will take place at the school, in the conference room. All parents are welcome to attend and participate.

      The school will hold Parent-Teacher Conferences on Feb. 2 and Feb. 10 from 3-6:30 p.m. All meetings with parents and teachers are by appointment only. Please contact the school to make an appointment at 436-8291.

Mt. Pleasant Elementary School

      Mt. Pleasant Elementary School will be holding a Parent-Teacher Association meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 8 from 2:45-3:45 p.m. All parents are welcome to join this meeting.

Ephraim Middle School

      The Ephraim Middle School will be holding a spelling bee for students on Friday, Feb. 4. A preliminary round will be held for each grade, and the top finalists will be participating in the spelling bee. A Zoom link will be provided to the parents of students who are in the finals.

Gunnison Valley High School

      Spirit Week for Gunnison Valley High School begins on Monday, Jan. 31 and continues until Friday, Feb. 4. The theme for the week is “Footloose: Kickin’ Off Your Sunday Shoes.” There will be dress-up days all week. On Friday, Feb. 4, the boys’ basketball team will play a game at home, where the Hall of Fame Award will be announced at halftime. After the game, a line dance class will be taking place.

North Sanpete Middle School

The North Sanpete welding students were able to visit the Snow College South Campus welding program for hands on instruction from Snow College instructors and students.
On January 19 the North Sanpete Middle School Student Council delivered a check for $1359 of student fundraiser money to the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City.
