Kammy Edmunds

On Friday, March 31, 2017 a beautiful light was extinguished way too soon, our loving Kammy Mae, born on Dec. 7, 1982 to Garth Edmunds and Tammy Coates.

Kammy was an amazing, beautiful child and grew into an even more amazing young woman. She always had a smile and a laugh that was so contagious you couldn’t help but smile with her, even on your worst day. When she said, “I love you”, you knew she meant it. Kammy was a very loving individual who gave everyone a chance to be loved by her.

She always had a smile and a kind word. Any one Kammy met was a friend, and once you were a friend, you were family to her. If you were blessed enough to be family, you were so loved. Kammy was all about family and if she saw you in the store or on the street she would make sure to run over to say “Hi” and give you a hug.

Kammy loved camping with family and friends, fishing and back road jaunts, family activities of any kind and bonfires with friends. NASCAR was her life; she was an avid fan and loved watching it on TV. She was thrilled to have been able to see it live in Las Vegas and California on more than one occasion.

She was an amazing mother, her kids loved her dearly. She loved reading and crocheting blankets and her family. Remember something Kammy would always say is that “Great means many things.” You can see how many lives she touched just by looking at her Facebook page, so many beautiful memories have been shared. She will be greatly missed.

We invite you to wear purple or blue; purple to support Domestic Violence in Kammy’s memory and blue for Support of Autism, which was something Kammy was an adamant supporter.

Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under Kammy Edmunds Benefit Memorial Fund.
