EPRHAIM — Kathy’s Kwilts and More of Mt. Pleasant received the Ephraim Small Business Development Center’s 2025 Client of the Year award during the Snow College SBDC Business of the Year 2025 awards event.

Janette Wagner with the SBDC presented the award to Kathy’s Kwilts and More owner Kathy Bruckman at the event, which recognized business clients served through the Snow College SBDC.

Kathy’s Kwilts and More operates in Mt. Pleasant and focuses on sewing and quilting instruction, along with quilting-related supplies and products. A profile on Bruckman published by the SBDC said she launched the business to help people build confidence, learn practical skills and create garments and quilts they could use and be proud of.

Bruckman teaches through Snow College Continuing Education, homeschool groups, quilting retreats and community events. She also plans to begin sewing and quilting classes in April. The business will also have a booth at the Scandinavian Festival.
