Making Life Work – March 2, 2022

For 2022, let your anger go because it’s just eating you up inside. The benefits of letting go of the past is that you can move forward, be happier, more peaceful, and you can stop running away from your anger. It honestly makes it so that you can live a better life.

Sometimes we build up so much anger and we take it out on others. You can try alternatives rather than taking it out on everyone else. For example, when you are angry, try taking a break and calming yourself down.

But don’t hold all your anger to yourself. Instead, you can try writing down what is making you upset and then burn it to let your feelings go.

Maybe you are mad at someone, but it isn’t affecting them. So instead of building it up, forgive them. Even talk to them about it because sometimes people do accidentally hurt you. However, don’t just forget what they did; you should still keep your wall up a little against that person because you never know if they will hurt you, again.

Maybe you are mad at yourself for something you did. Guess what, though? Being mad at yourself is kind of stupid because we all make mistakes; we are human. One mistake you make doesn’t identify who you are. In every mistake made, there is a lesson to be learned. Every lesson you learn allows you to grow and become a better person.

By the end of the year, you can take control back of your anger, instead of letting it take control of you. The next time you get mad at someone, first calm yourself down and then try talking to them. If you are mad at yourself for a mistake you have made, just remember that it is another lesson you have learned.
