MANTI—Manti High School Student Government was able to spread Christmas cheer with their first Christmas Tree Service Project with the help of the student body.

“We were able to help five families within Ephraim and Manti,” Assistant Principal Josh Palmer said.

Each family was given a decorated tree along with gifts for all the children in the home Palmer said. The 28 student government officers wrapped and organized the gifts and with faculty members delivered the trees on Friday, Dec. 17, to the families.

The Manti High Student Government, and student body, shared their Christmas cheer by decorating and donating Christmas trees to five families in the Ephraim and Manti area. Each family was blessed with a decorated tree along with gifts, for the children, to go under the tree. Among those pictured are: Cali Alder, Leah Arnoldsen, Brynli Bodell, Gracie Brinkerhoff, Jacob Chidester, Jared Cluff, Talia Cluff, Katherine Crouch, Jentri Draper, Emmeline Egg, Dessa Estey, Samuel Gilbert, Cayden Hirschi, Matthew Lundeberg, Katelyn Nordfelt, Simeon Olsen, Adalee Olsen, Hunter Powell, Adelaide Ross, Adrienne Shelley, Colby Simons, Issac Smith, Karalee Ward, Tate Wayman, Hallie Williams, Juliana Workman, Madison Worthington and Quinlan Zollinger. Not pictured: Advisor Jana Worthington.

Each grade at the high school oversaw decorating a tree and finding gifts for the children listed on each tree.

“The whole student body and staff at MHS have helped to make this service project,” Janalee Worthington, Student government advisor said.

Worthington said that Christensen Arms, Custom Electric and Ace Hardware also helped by donating to the cause.

Serving families in the area and involving the whole student body at MHS really helped to bring the spirit of Christmas into the school.
