It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter and aunt, Marisol Alma Meza. Friday, May 7, 2022, when she was suddenly called to smile, laugh, and dance in the streets of Heaven.

She and her boyfriend, Darrin Moore, lost their lives in an accident in Las Vegas, Nevada, leaving her family and friends to mourn. Born on Oct. 4, 1997, she was 24 years old. She leaves behind parents Sergio and Eden Rios-Lopez of Bellville, Texas, older sister Crystal M. Meza of Las Vegas, Nevada, older brother Jose Meza of Bellville, Texas, and younger sister Karina Robles of Bellville, Texas.
She leaves a niece and nephew that she loved and adored so much. Ayva Lewis of Bellville, Texas and Lincoln Buchanan of Wallis, Texas. She leaves heartbroken grandparents Bruce and Kathi Williams of Fayette, Utah and Abigail Carmona and Jose Luis Lira from the Estado of Mexico. Among countless friends, she also leaves numerous aunts and uncles that will never get to see that infectious smile as she walks into a room.
Marisol graduated with honors from Belleville High School in 2016, that fall she started Texas State University, after the first year, she decided to take a year or two off, see the world and travel, including Puerto Rico, New York, and finally stopped in Las Vegas to see her sister, she soon had a job at a popular restaurant as a hostess and decided to stay in Las Vegas.
Memorial Services will be celebrated May 19 from 3-5 p.m., Mass will be held from 5-6 p.m., open mic from 6-7 p.m., and at 7 p.m., the releasing of doves ceremony.
Friends and family are welcome to send flowers and or condolences to the family. Services will be held at: La Paloma Funeral Services, 2551 S Apache Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada.
