Pat Shaw

Pat Shaw passed away on Sept. 28, 2026 in Provo, Utah after a brief battle of cancer. She was born on Dec. 7, 1941, in Helper, Utah to Theo and Beulah Clark. She married Lakay Shaw on Oct. 23, 1959 in the Manti Temple. Together they had six children and were married for 49 years.

Pat spent most of her life raising a family, loving to see the world with her children, camping, fishing, boating, and hunting. Her work ethic was undeniable, even working up to a week before her passing. She was grateful to be able to work for Val Jones, at Jones High Country RV Park.

She is survived by her children: Andy (Carol) Shaw, of Ephraim; Kurt Shaw, of Nephi; Latricia (Ron) Lazenby, of Salina; Josie Bown, of Ephraim; Shelly (Terry) Squire, of Manti. She loved her posterity which included 28 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, with three more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lakay Shaw; son, Arlandkay “Little Kay” Shaw; grandsons: Dwight Davis, Carson Draper; great-grandson, Kade Shaw.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Juab County Food Bank – 45 S 100 W, Nephi Utah or the Sanpete County Food Pantry – https://sanpetepantry.org.
