Pauline Aguado, 68, of Ephraim, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 1, 2022.
Pauline was born in San Francisco and raised in Pacifica, California. She moved to Sanpete when she was 19 and made it her home.
She worked at Norbest in Moroni for 48 years, and it was there she met her loving husband, Juan. They were married on Valentine’s Day in 1980. Together they had four children: Juan, Bob, Sara and Christina.
Pauline knew how to love fiercely and spent much of her life quietly advocating for the rights of others. Her children often joked about her tendency to collect “strays” as they were growing up since their home was always open to those in need regardless of relation, race, or religion. In addition to helping those around her, Pauline and Juan sponsored several people for visas and maintained relationships with them throughout her life.
Those who knew her will remember her as a kind and loving woman who had a quick wit and boisterous laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Juan; children, Bob, Sara (Jose), and Christina; sisters, Arlene (Rick) and Leslie; brother, John; and 7 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Fay Busenbark, and her son, Juan Carlos Aguado.
