Raymond Dee Jensen

Raymond Dee Jensen passed away peacefully, surrounded by grandchildren and children at his home in Grantsville, July 16, 2026. Raymond was a great man of strength in word and deed.
He was raised on a farm in Sterling and Caliente, Nevada. He loved to farm, hunt, fish and mine for gold. Raymond also served as the Utah State VP in the Jaycees and was a Private E-2 in the USAR.
He served as a Seventy and many other callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Raymond married his sweetheart Pam on Dec. 10, 1965, and they were together 57 years before she passed away in 2022.
Dad never quit, even against all odds and he always did the right thing. He loved his family fiercely and he will be missed greatly.
Raymond is survived by Jeff Newton, son, Steven Jensen, son, Shaneen Wintch daughter, Jane Higley daughter, Nendy Ann Kerr daughter, and Cynthia Newton daughter, along with 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Pamela Jane Russell Jensen, KamRay Jensen son, Kent Jensen son, Raymond Jensen son and Nathan Kerr grandson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at 415 W. Apple St LDS Church in Grantsville. A viewing will be held the evening before on July 24 from 6-8 p.m. and another on the morning of the 25th from 9:30-10:15 a.m. prior to services.
Burial will be in the Sterling, Utah Cemetery.
