In recognition of Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, Manti High School Resource Officer Kenny Kirkham was honored at the Manti girls’ basketball game Tuesday, Jan. 11 for his devoted service.
He has been an officer for the past 25 years, and a resource officer at MHS for the past nine years.
Deputy Kirkham does his very best to attend and support every athletic event at the high school and often travels to other schools to support the teams. The Lady Templars made him an honorary team member for the season and presented him with several gifts including a basketball signed by team members.
A high school spokesperson said they very much appreciate Deputy Kirkham and can’t begin to number the students whose lives he has made a positive impact on.
