Ronald Floyd Keele entered life eternal on Aug. 2, 2021 at the age of 63.
Ron died peacefully with family surrounding him at his home in Ephraim. He fought a courageous battle with melanoma cancer. Ron was born Aug. 12, 1957 in Orem, Utah to Gary and Joyce Flygare Keele.
He was the third of four children. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ron met his wife, Jana Miller, whom he loved and cherished, while both were living in Orem Utah. They were married Sept. 20, 1980 in Orem. They were sealed in the Provo Temple Sept. 17, 1988.
To this union came four beautiful children.
Ron made a 45-year career as a meat cutter and butcher. He provided well for his family in his career choice. This career took him to Ephraim in 1993, where he started the meat department at Kent’s Market. Later he went on to manage the meat department at Gunnison Market. He was known as a very hard worker and managed successful meat departments wherever he worked.
Throughout his life Ron enjoyed shooting guns, four-wheeling, skiing, baseball, sports, video games, traveling with friends, the Hallmark channel, holidays, family vacations, and spending time with his family, who he cherished. He held many callings in the Church but the one he enjoyed most was teaching in Primary.
Ron took immaculate care of everything in his possession and would move heaven and earth for those he loved. He was a very genuine and kindhearted man. Once he called you a friend you were a friend for life.
Ron is survived by his eternal companion, Jana; his children: Austin (Angel), Keele, Panguitch; Carson (Jennifer) Keele, Salt Lake City; Shandell (Tony) Whiteford , Cedar City; and Landon Keele, Salt Lake City; and daughter by choice, Andrea Ellis, Ephraim and his six grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
