
Ruth Loraine Green Adamson, 90, of Ephraim, passed away July 14, 2021 at the Golden Skyline Assisted Living.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1930 in Ephraim, to James and Mary Henrietta Christensen Green.
Ruth was raised in Ephraim and graduated from Snow High School. Ruth worked in the grocery and retail industry in Sanpete County.
She loved mingling and visiting with the store patrons at Mary’s AG, Snappys, Ben Franklin and Manti Market. In Ruth’s younger years she loved being active in the outdoors. She was adventurous and was always game for anything. She enjoyed puzzles, Jeopardy, cross stitching and binding quilts.
Ruth married Roger O. Peterson on June 26, 1952, he preceded her in death on March 1, 1970. She later married Bill Marlowe on July 17, 1981, he preceded her in death January 22, 1999 and then married Jordy Adamson July 14, 1999, he also preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 2020.
Ruth is survived by her children: Gary (Patty) Peterson, of Ephraim and Jolene (Tim) Brown, of South Jordan; eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Montel, Ray, Dee, Marjie, Marlin, Allan, Elmo, Veon and LA Green.
Graveside services and Interment were held on Monday, July 19, 2021 in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
