Sanpete should get out of Central Utah Water Conservancy District

With the primary and general election coming our way, there is a question I would like to ask all our candidates for Sanpete County Commissioner:

“Where do you stand in regards to the Central Utah Water Conservancy District (CUWCD)?”

In my opinion, Sanpete County should withdraw from the CUWCD. Sanpete County has been a member of CUWCD for over 50 years and I believe that membership has been nothing but an economic drain on the property owners of this county, due to onerous taxes, for which Sanpete County and its citizens have received virtually nothing in return.

I have personal knowledge about this matter which I cannot set forth here, due to space limitation. I would be happy to discuss this matter further with anyone who wishes to call me.
