Scot Sorensen, 59, of Spring City, saddled up and took his final ride into the sunset surrounded by his family on Aug. 8, 2022.

Scot Sorensen

Scot was preceded in heaven by his father Keith, and brothers Elliot and Alan. He is survived by his mother Lovina, sisters Neira (Mike Gill) and Tina (Jim Langston), and brother Rick (Jaylynn Yazzie).

His legacy lives on in the love of his life, Jennifer Sorensen, and their children and grandchildren; Scott and Sheena Tidwell (Chelsea and Elgen), Shelly McPherson (Jordyn), Spencer and Shanae McPherson (Seth), Shelby McPherson (Izen), Scot and Courtney Sorensen (Eli and Cole), and Nate Edwards and Hannah Sorensen (Bridger).

Scot met Jennifer in 1993, and over their 28 years of marriage, they blended a beautiful family and built a life they loved. Scot was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He spent his spare time serving his community and loved spending time in the mountains camping, fishing, and hunting with his family and friends.

A brief graveside service will be held at the Moroni City Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. Online condolence at http://www.rasmussenmortuary. com.
