Scott and Marilyn Stewart, of Gunnison celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2021. They are the parents of Megan Stewart (Jason); Jordan (Nickie) Stewart; Lacey (Tyrell) Belnap; and Taylor (Messina) Stewart. They have 11 grandchildren.
Scott was raised in Fairview/Gunnison and Marilyn was raised in Gunnison. They both graduated from Gunnison High School. They have lived in Gunnison most of their marriage.
Scott and Marilyn have always loved traveling together and have been to many places. After retirement they took a 40-day trip, visiting 18 states to conclude traveling to all 50 states.
A favorite tradition is having Sunday dinner together with their kids and their families. They love supporting their children and grandchildren in all their activities and can be found and most of their events.
