Three Mt. Pleasant ladies compete for city title

            MT. PLEASANT—Miss Mt. Pleasant 2021, Hope Shelley, will pass her title on to one of three contestants at the Miss Mt. Pleasant Scholarship pageant on Friday, May 13, which starts at 7 p.m. at the North Sanpete High School auditorium. There is $3,900 in scholarship money up for grabs.

Hanna Nelson

            The contestants are:

            Hanna Nelson, daughter of Kevin and Lacy Jorgensen and Travis Nelson. Her social impact initiative is “Domestic Violence Awareness.” For her talent, Hanna will be performing a jazz dance solo.

            Journey Toomey, daughter of Davis and Teasha Toomey. She has chosen “Reach Out, Rise Together” as her social impact initiative. For her talent, she will be sharing an interactive video.

            Aubrie Stiglich, daughter of Chris and Marilyn Terry and Kira Stiglich. Her social impact initiative is “Helping Hands.” She will be performing a monologue from Juliet.
