Three will compete in Miss Moroni Pageant Saturday

MORONI—The 2025 Miss Moroni and Little Miss Moroni Pageant will take place Saturday at 6 p.m. at the North Sanpete Middle School.

Miss Moroni hopefuls include three contestants:

Kynnedy Cartright, daughter of Kris West and J.R. Cartwright, plans to highlight mental health awareness in her platform by encouraging people to seek help when needed and support others who may feel alone. She will perform wrestling moves as her talent. She plans to attend Snow College after graduation.

Kenadee Hopes, daughter of Boedee and Patti Jo Hopes, and Erin and Benjamin Maier, aims to bring attention to suicide prevention with her service platform “Choosing You.” She intends to showcase a dance routine, wants to make a difference in her community one step at a time and hopes to pursue a career in mental health.

Angela Vasquez, daughter of Eloisa Lemus, will focus on support for the elderly by emphasizing the importance of caring for, valuing and respecting senior citizens. She plans to read a poem as her talent.

The Little Miss Moroni competition features several participants:

Aribella Cartright, daughter of Kris West and J.R. Cartwright, will perform a cheer routine and plans to advocate for cleaner city parks.

Isabella Figueroa, daughter of Guadalupe Ornelas and Manual Figueroa, will perform a dance and plans to encourage children to stay active through biking.

Bryndle Hopes, daughter of Patti Jo and Boedee Hopes, will perform a dance as her talent and plans to promote her “Kindness Counts” platform by distributing positive messages.

Bristol Michie, daughter of Brad and Megan Michie, also plans a dance routine. Her platform will be supporting the troops. She hopes to attend college and become a veterinarian.

Kaelynn Patino, daughter of Kelly Patino, will dance as her talent and pledges to help beautify the Moroni City Cemetery by planting flowers.

Kambrie Russell, daughter of Brennen Russell, plans to sing as her talent and will promote patriotism, particularly honoring veterans in the community.
