Wayne Verl Richards

Wayne Verl Richards passed away Nov. 13, 2021. He was born Aug. 28, 1967.

He is survived by his parents Verl Jerry and LaVerla Joy Richards, sisters Laura Roberts (David), Julie Powell (Ed). He is preceded in death by his brother Robert J. Richards.

We think of you every single day.  We miss your awesome bear hugs and laughter, always happy to see us.  Your smile lights up our darkness. Belief in yourself is so strong, you “feel” the spirit inside shining so brightly when you’re helping someone else.  It radiates the love in your heart. True understanding lies just beyond the veil, you finally made it home. We love you, Wayne.

Wayne loved his family and friends. Cookouts were special with him.  He loved to invent new things, knowing one day his fortune would unfold.  His complicated mind was full of dreams and undying hope.  He loved living on his mountain property, dreaming there his last summer.

Solitude calmed him.  HOPE sustained him.

He never ever gave up HOPE.

A graveside service was held in the Mt Pleasant Cemetery on Dec. 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com.
