Yardley Inn and Spa introduces new wellness technology for patrons

A SpectraLight Therapy Bed, one of only a few dozen in the United States, has been installed at the Yardley Inn and Spa in Manti. Users report having a deeply calming experience with a renewed sense of clarity and energy.

MANTI—Yardley Inn has installed what owners Mike and Katelon Gilbert describe as “one of the rarest wellness technologies in the country”—a SpectraLight Therapy Bed.

The Gilberts say only a few dozen of the beds are currently in use in the United States. Installed in a special SONshine Therapy Room, the bed will be open to Sanpete County residents as well as guests at the historic inn.

The Gilberts have scheduled an open house on Friday, Feb. 21 from 1-5 p.m. when residents can tour the therapy room and experience mini sessions on the therapy bed.

“We don’t practice medicine,” Katelon says. “We provide a peaceful space for a state-of-the-art, full-body light and frequency experience, and we teach people how to listen to their own body’s wisdom. Our mission is healthier hearts and healthier marriages.”

“I bought the bed because too many people I love were hurting,” Mike says. “We kept seeing friends drive hours for help or feel stuck with only medication as an option. I wanted a place here in our own community where folks could come, reset and rest their nervous system, and try something gentle before giving up hope.”

The SpectraLight bed delivers gentle frequencies through four bands of light—blue, green, red, and infrared—designed to support relaxation, circulation, recovery and nervous-system balance.

Sessions are often described as deeply calming, leaving guests with a renewed sense of clarity and energy.
