GUNNISON
Friday, July 3
• 4 p.m. – Food vendors open, Gunnison City Park
• 4-8 p.m. – Park entertainment featuring laser tag, mini golf and a mechanical bull ($15 unlimited wristband)
• 6 p.m. – Community auction
• 8:15 p.m. – Concert featuring Legends of New Country: Wallen & Wilson
• Dark – Fireworks display
• 10:15 p.m. – Teen dance (ages 12-18); $5 admission
Saturday, July 4
• 6 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk
• 7 a.m. – American Legion Breakfast
• 9 a.m. – Independence Day Parade
• 10 a.m. – Park festivities at Gunnison City Park, including:
– Car show
– Craft vendors
– Park games hosted by the Gunnison Valley High School swim team
• 10 a.m. – Lions Club lunch
• 11 a.m. – Bingo
• 11:15 a.m. – Duck Dive and free swimming

MANTI
Friday, July 3
• 4:30 p.m. – Pickleball tournament (novice) signups, city courts on Union Street
• 6:30 p.m. – Pickleball tournament (advanced) signups, city courts on Union Street
• 7 p.m. – Youth celebration and chalk throw, Manti City Sports Complex (grades 7-12); live band, games and food
Saturday, July 4
• 7-10 a.m. – American Legion Breakfast, Manti City Park east pavilion ($8 adults, $5 children)
• 7 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk, Manti City Park northwest pavilion ($15 registration includes T-shirt)
• 10 a.m. – Patriotic program, Manti City Park main stage; flag ceremony, grand marshal speaker and entertainment
• 11 a.m. – horseshoe tournament, Manti City Park horseshoe pits
• 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Games and entertainment, Manti City Park; games every 20 minutes including wheelbarrow race, three-legged race, egg toss, tug-of-war
• 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Vendor booths and food trucks, Manti City Park
• 11:30 a.m. – Cornhole tournament signups, east of the horseshoe pits at Manti City Park
• 2 p.m. – Watermelon bust, Manti City Park east pavilion
• 3-5 p.m. – Free swimming, Manti City Pool
• 3:30 p.m. – Tennis tournament signups, Manti High School courts
• 6 p.m. – Fourth of July Parade, Main Street (participants line up at 5 p.m. near the red church)
• 7 p.m. – Home run derby, Manti City Sports Complex
• 7-10 p.m. – Entertainment and fireworks, Manti City Sports Complex
Note: Personal fireworks are prohibited in Manti this year.

MT. PLEASANT
Thursday, July 2
• 5:30 p.m. – Pickleball tournament, City Park (register on the city website)

• 6:30 p.m. – Pre-rodeo entertainment
• 8 p.m. – Hub City Days Rodeo, Circle V Rodeo Arena
• During the rodeo: Big Chase for children ages 3-10 (sign up at the rodeo) and Adult Beer Boggle Race

• 11 a.m. – Children’s Parade
• 11:30 a.m. – Mammoth Parade
• 1:30 p.m. – Foam Party and pie eating contest
• 3 p.m. – North Sanpete Veterans Memorial dedication
• 6:30 p.m. – Pre-rodeo entertainment
• 8 p.m. – Hub City Days Rodeo, Circle V Rodeo Arena
• Following the rodeo (about 10 p.m.) – Fireworks display
• During the rodeo: Big Chase for children ages 3-10 (sign up at the rodeo) and Adult Beer Goggle Race

MORONI
Friday, July 3
• 4 p.m. – Pickleball tournament, pickleball courts on Main Street
• 4-8:30 p.m. – Classic car show, Moroni City Recreation Complex, 655 E. 100 South
• 5:30 p.m. – Volleyball tournament, Center Street Park, no more than six on a team, must have a woman on the court. $100 entry fee.
• 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Barbecue turkey dinner, Recreation Complex, 655 E. 100 South
Saturday, July 4
• 7 a.m. – 5K turkey trot, start at Moroni City Hall
• 7-8 a.m. – Fireman’s Breakfast, fire station, 50 S. 200 West. Fundraiser, donations accepted.
• 8 a.m. – Flag ceremony, Moroni City Hall
• 9:45 a.m. – Airplane ball drop, along Main Street parade route
• 10 a.m. – Mammoth parade, Main Street
• 11 a.m. 2 p.m. – Ping Pong Ball prize pickup at Moroni Recreation Complex 655 E. 100 South
• 11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Fourth of July carnival, Moroni Recreation Complex. Carnival attractions include:
– Train rides
– Face painting
– Dunk booth
– Bounce houses
– Games and additional family activities
• 11:30 a.m. – Relay races at Recreation Complex
• 6 p.m. – Activities at Center Street Park. Music by “Legacy,” mechanical bull, watermelon bust, food trucks.
• 10 p.m. – Fireworks presented by Moroni City Fire Department, Center Street Park
Note: Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a canopy for shade while children enjoy the carnival activities.
