“Ready for Work,” an oil on canvas painting done by Lachelle Anderson Cook, will be on display as part of the Rotating Artist Series at Fairview Museum from March 11 to April 30.

FAIRVIEW–As part of its Rotating Artist Series, the Fairview Museum will be exhibiting the artwork of Lachelle Anderson Cook of Fairview and Natalie Bradley of Moroni. The artists will be honored at a reception on Friday, March 11 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the museum.

Natalie Bradley was raised in Fairview, where she spent a lot of time in the mountains and helping on the family farm. She came to love the beautiful Sanpete Valley and the views that surrounded her.

She attended and graduated from both North Sanpete High School and Dixie State College.

She then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Georgia. After returning home, she married Stephen Bradley of Moroni. They have lived many places throughout their marriage but are grateful to be back in Moroni, raising their five children.

Bradley has always had a love for art and the beauties of nature. Over the years, she has taken many different art classes, including drawing, watercolor, illustration and, more recently, photography. She enjoys participating in various local art shows and being a part of the local art community.

Lachelle Anderson Cook was born to Lynn and Carmen Anderson of Fairview. She said, “I had the perfect childhood: playing with all my cousins, working on the farm, and having dinner at Grandma’s house every Sunday. I have always loved art and from a young age wanted to become an artist.”

In high school, she was excited to take art classes, and as a senior, she became the Visual Arts Sterling Scholar. She took more art classes at Snow College, and she’s been drawing and painting ever since.

In 2003 Lachelle married Brandon Cook, and they have 8 children. They moved to Southern California for a time but were blessed to return home to Sanpete a few years ago. They love living in Fairview and working on their little hobby farm.

Everyone is invited to share in the excellence of this art show. Natalie Bradley and Lachelle Cook’s artwork will be displayed at the Fairview Museum of History and Art from March 11 through April 30.
