Benjamin Ronald Brown, 40, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 at his home in Fayette.

He was born Jan. 6, 1982 in Gunnison to Bart Ronald and Sunnie Kaye King Brown.  He married Kayla Sorenson on Dec. 9, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ben loved his wife fiercely and was a wonderful father to his five children. He was a fun uncle to 36 nieces and nephews.  Ben loved watching and supporting his kids in sports and academics.

He loved music from a young age and was always the life of the party, especially when it came to karaoke.  He was a huge tease; a daddy’s boy, always full of useless information.  He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading fantasy.

Ben came from a loving family.  He had a special relationship with each of his siblings and his mom and dad.

Ben is survived by his wife, Kayla, of Fayette; children, Hadlee McDonald, Braegan Brown, Houston McDonald, Lily Brown, and Spencer Brown; siblings, Heidi (Ben) Boyer of Logan, Robyn (Steve) McCarney of England, Katie Brown (Chris Karl) of San Antonio, Texas, Brett (Kat) Brown of Saratoga Springs, and Sara (Jace) Ellsworth of Fayette; grandparents, Ron and Jean Brown of Heber City; Kayla’s parents, Louise (Marty) Gagon of Spring City and Dell (Kathy) Sorensen of Wells, Nevada; and stepmother, Camille (Jerry) Mason of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Maxine King.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Fayette Ward Chapel, where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. or Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Live streaming of the services and online guestbook can be found at www.maglebymortuary.com under Ben’s obituary.

Burial will be in the Fayette Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
