Brandon Armstrong

My name is Julianne (Sky) Gardner, a registered “unaffiliated” voter. It is with great humility and is an honor to be able to introduce Brandon Armstrong, a very special individual who is running for county commissioner Seat A. I have known Brandon for over six years. I first met him in 2016 while he was dating my god-daughter, RoquesAnn.

Over the years, Brandon and I have had countless conversations about the political environment, and although at times we have had opposing views, one of the qualities I respect most about Brandon is his ability to reserve his opinion and to be open to hearing differing views and perspectives. We need this in our political arena now more than ever!

This is largely why I support him in running for county commissioner. And as such, I ask that you please take a few moments to peek into who he is and consider why he would be an invaluable elected official to support the needs of the people and communities in Sanpete County.

First and foremost, Brandon is a loving, caring and supportive husband and father of three extraordinary children. Over the years, I have watched him grow into becoming one of the most extraordinary men I know. He is dedicated to his wife and family, he has been an amazing source of guidance and wisdom for his children, and he works hard every day to provide a life they all deserve.

In 2021, Brandon decided to move his family away from Salt Lake County to Sanpete County, and although he must now drive more than three hours a day to and from work, he made this move selflessly—so he and his family could be free of environmental and political concerns that were impacting his family’s health and personal freedom. This is just one of the many ways in which he continues to support and provide for his family.

Although the Armstrong family is not native to Sanpete County and have only lived here for a little over a year, they found their home here. Brandon continues to prove how important it is to live in a place where his family can thrive among the community.

Brandon is a small business owner operating a property management company in Murray. As such, he can directly relate to the challenges that come with owning his own business. He understands the value of building supportive, collaborative relationships. He possesses the character and tact needed when seeking common ground between opposing points of view and concerns, while effectively managing budgets and prioritizing multiple concerns to create outcomes to benefit the whole.

When Brandon first began to entertain the idea of running for the county commissioner seat, we spoke about it in length. I could feel his passion and desire to serve in a way “the people” need and deserve. It lit up my heart to see not only how he took such great care of his family, but now wanted to expand that to help the citizens of Sanpete County. At that moment, I didn’t know I could feel any prouder of him, but I did!

Now, I could go into all the reasons why Brandon would be the best choice politically for this seat, but I feel it equally important to share just a little more about who he is as a person.

After Brandon made the decision to run for office, he and his family went door to door to meet the citizens in the various communities in Sanpete County. He was touched at the open reception he received from Republicans, Democrats, and all those in between.

Again, he showed them, like he showed me that he is willing and capable of hearing what others had to say. He was genuinely concerned about all the issues the citizens brought to his attention. This fueled his passion even more.

Julianne Gardner

Brandon said, “The priceless experiences that our family has had going door to door and getting the opportunity to individually meet many of Sanpete County residents has been invaluable.”

Does Brandon have experience in politics? No!

Does Brandon have the heart it takes to serve the people of Sanpete County? Yes!

Is Brandon aware of the many issues we face here in Sanpete County Yes!

Is Brandon willing and able to get the job done for the citizens of Sanpete County? To this I also say a resounding, YES!
