On Wednesday, Jan. 19, a crash occurred on SR-132 near milepost 51, about three miles south of Fountain Green. The crash occurred at 9:50 a.m. when a silver Jeep Compass was traveling northbound. The Jeep attempted to pass a gray Chevy pickup in the southbound lane, which was permitted, but there was another vehicle approaching southbound. According to a statement from Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol, the Jeep swerved and sideswiped the Chevy truck and then went off the road to the right.

The Jeep then hit a fence and rolled over onto its top. The passenger in the Jeep—an adult female—was the only one who sustained any injuries. The woman was airlifted to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
