DEMOCRAT CAUCUS – UPDATE

Suzanne DeanbySuzanne Dean

Reading Time: 1 min read

The Sanpete County Democratic Party Caucus, being held virtually this year, will be Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. The link is posted on the Sanpete County Democratic Party Facebook page.

The only caucus business will be to elect county officers.

“In the past, we had our caucus and convention at the same time, but the rules do not allow that anymore. So, the convention will be held separately on April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Spring City Art Gallery,” Serenity Kimball, county chairwoman, said.

Kimball says local Democrats hope some candidates will attend. The agenda will be electing state delegates and talking about the future, followed by a potluck dinner.
