EavaLyn Zabriskie Nielson Follett

EavaLyn Zabriskie Nielson Follett passed away Dec. 10, 2021.

She was born Sep. 14, 1933, to Shirley and Thelma Zabriskie.

Not even graduating from elementary school, she went on to become a nurse, working in several nursing homes until she was 78 years young.  She went on to making the best peanut butter fudge and rum cakes in the world.  Independent to the end, living on her own, she died when she knew her grandchildren were coming for a Christmas party so we all got to say goodbye.

She is survived by her sister, Thelma Anderson; her two children, Rebecca Nielson of Salt Lake, and Gaylene LeFebvre (husband Randy) of Manti; three grandchildren, Waylon (wife Tori), Ryan Hewitt, Brandon Williams (wife Samra); and 7 great-grandchildren.

As per her wish she will be cremated, and we will scatter her ashes in Ephraim Canyon near her brother, Pete Zabriskie.  We will miss you Mom, but we cannot be anything but happy and grateful for you.
