Virdi, along with his father, Krishan Lal, and brothers, Mohit Paul and Munish Paul, is developing the 3,500-square-foot business to serve local residents and travelers passing through Sterling.

The family plans to offer a variety of groceries, household essentials, snacks and other convenience items. The store will also feature a section dedicated to fishing supplies and official NFL merchandise, providing additional shopping options for residents and visitors.

A major component of the project is a full-service, in-house restaurant designed to accommodate both families looking for a sit-down meal and travelers seeking something to eat on the go.

The restaurant will offer freshly prepared meals and a dining area where customers can sit and enjoy their food.

With fuel pumps, groceries, sporting goods, merchandise and restaurant service planned for one location, the Virdi family hopes to make Sterling Mart a convenient stop for residents and visitors alike.

The new business represents an expansion of retail and dining options in Sterling, a small community along U.S. 89 that serves as a gateway to Palisade State Park and surrounding recreational areas.
