EPHRAIM—A video created by Jane Stucki, 14, of Spring City was selected as the statewide winner of Zions Bank’s “Lights, Camera, Save!” contest. For creating the winning video, Jane was awarded a $500 cash prize at Zions Bank’s Ephraim branch on Wednesday, June 15.

Jane’s video, titled “A Few Easy Ways to Save Money,” features practical saving tips using hand drawn black and white illustrations. As the winner of the contest her video advanced to the national competition, sponsored by the America Bankers Association, where it was shared on the ABA’s Instagram account.

“We commend Jane for helping us spread the message about the importance of savings,” Nate Christensen, Ephraim branch manager said. “Her video delivers excellent savings tips in an engaging and entertaining way.”

To participate in the competition, students created a short video to educate their peers about the value of saving and using money wisely. Participating banks judges the entries and selected one winner from their state for consideration at the national level. Videos were judged on their quality, message and content.
